![]() POWDER PUFFThank you to everyone who supported the Elizabeth Cheerleaders at the 2010 PowderPuff Games!
SchedulesSchool started August 16th along with MANDATORY PRACTICE. From that point on, on cheer class days, we will have practice after school until 4:30. On non-class days, we will have practice from 5:30-7:30pm. Starting Nov 12, our evening practice time will be switched to 7pm-9pm.Sporting events will affect the practice schedule. Some girls will be given certain sporting events off. These are optional. In order to letter, a cheerleader must participate in 75% of the fall events listed on the calendar. When a cheerleader is not required to be at a game, that game still counts towards lettering. See Coach White if you have any questions.
Also, remember, if you are not at the practices prior to a sporting event, you will not be able to cheer. You will be benched. Being benched means that you go to the game and sit! REMINDER: Varsity and Junior Varsity teams are subject to change at any time. The coaches are evaluating participants on the following categories: stunting, jumps, motions, gymnastics,voice, dance knowledge/ability, CHEER KNOWLEDGE, memory, showmanship, dedication, and attitude. We will be announcing teams for our first week of games on Monday August 30th. From that point on, individuals will be notified of changes happening weekly. ![]() Booster ClubMark your calendars: We will be having a Booster Club Meeting on Monday, November 8th at 6:00pm in Room 101 at EHS. We invite all cheer parents to come.
